Grace Miller

I’m Grace Miller, a passionate music educator and cellist committed to nurturing musical growth in students of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to my work as an educator, I am an active performer with experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings. Here, you’ll find examples of my teaching philosophy, classroom materials, performance experience—including live concerts and recordings—and professional accomplishments. Thank you for visiting!

My Mission

It is my goal that every student I work with feels seen, supported, and inspired. As a music educator and performer, I strive to create a space where people of all backgrounds can access meaningful music experiences, grow in confidence, and build lasting connections. I believe in the transformative power of both learning and performing music, whether in the classroom or on stage. I care deeply about strong relationships, high-quality instruction, and making music education a place where everyone belongs. At the heart of my teaching and performing is the belief that music can change lives, and it is my honor to be part of that journey with my students and audiences alike.

"Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart."

S. Suzuki
